Organizes DBT Sponsored Short-Term Training Course on Application of Biotechnological Tools in Crop Improvement 10–30 July 2013

The workshop: Application of biotechnological tools in crop improvement programmes is the prime requisite to improve the agricultural productivity. This training programme aims to develop skilled researchers in agricultural biotechnology. This will also instill confidence in teachers to promote the agricultural research to younger generation for sustainable food production.

Eligibility: UG/PG teachers and mid-career scientists sponsored by their parent institutions and working in the field of Plant Biology and Biotechnology.

Mode of selection: First-come-first served basis. Number of participants is limited to 20. No registration fees. TA/DA will not be provided. Accommodation available on request.
